Cowboys vs. Rams injury report: Sean Lee doesn’t practice, Tony Pollard is a full participant

The latest injuries for the Cowboys and Rams.

The Dallas Cowboys will need all hands on deck when they face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. They might not get everyone, but they are getting healthier.

First, we’ll dispense with the Dak Prescott situation. As we mentioned a while back, he hurt his fingers in the Bears game but so far it hasn’t been an issue. He’s had some of them taped in practice but Jason Garrett reported it wasn’t an issue and it shouldn’t affect Prescott for Sunday.

The Cowboys real problem is at linebacker. Leigthon Vander Esch didn’t practice (as expected) and Sean Lee also didn’t go, instead he worked on the sidelines. That meant Joe Thomas and Luke Gifford were taking some reps with the starters. Tomorrow will be a crucial day for Lee to see if he can go.

The Cowboys got good news as both running back Tony Pollard and safety Jeff Heath were upgraded to full participants in practice.

That leaves Michael Bennett, La’el Collins. Zack Martin, Byron Jones, Chris Jones and Antwaun Woods as limited. Bennett, Collins and Martin have played with their injuries so they should be fine to go on Sunday. We’ll see how the others fare on Friday.
