The Cowboys are set to kickoff week 15 at home, in AT&T Stadium but with a new face at kicker. Kai Forbath, an eight-year veteran, will be taking over for Brett Maher as the Cowboys kicker for the remainder of the season. The Cowboys released Brett Maher after a year and a half with the team. The former Cowboys kicker may not be jobless for long as he had a workout with a AFC playoff contender this week.
Former Cowboys K Brett Maher worked out for the Titans, per source. He does have practice squad eligibility and could be a late-season add for a team looking to add depth.

Maher has had his struggles in 2019, but so has Titans kicker Ryan Succop, which is the reason for bringing Maher in for a workout. Succop has made just 20% of his field goals in 2019 (five games), so Maher’s 66.7% field goal percentage would be an upgrade.
Maher’s tenure with the Cowboys was a brief one, but it seems like there is some interest around the league for the 30-year old kicker. We’ll see if someone pulls the trigger on him.
