As we head into the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys are preparing for an important game against the Los Angeles Rams. As in all NFL games, injuries play an important part of the contest. Let’s see where the combatants stand in that department.
For the Cowboys, linebacker is an issue. They will once again be without Leighton Vander Esch who is still trying to recover from a neck injury. Compounding matters is his replacement, Sean Lee, could also miss the game. He is listed officially as questionable with thigh and pectoral injuries. Lee was looks to be a game-time decision.
Joining Lee as questionable is reserve wide receiver and special teams player Ventell Bryant. He was held out of practice today with a knee injury.
Michael Bennett was held out of practice today but he is expected to play. Also expected to play are the players who have made up a long list of limited participants at practice this week including La’el Collins, Zack Martin, Byron Jones and Chris Jones.
On the other side, the Los Angeles Rams are amazingly healthy. They have one player, tight end Gerald Everett, who has missed practices this week. .
Cowboys officially ruled out LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck) for Sunday vs. Rams. LB Sean Lee (pectoral/thigh) and WR Ventell Bryant (knee) are questionable. Bryant was added to injury report today. Did not practice.
