As long as there is still a chance the Dallas Cowboys can make the playoffs in 2019, the state of their injury report bears examination. Of course, top of that list in concern is the shoulder of Dak Prescott. While Prescott has stated that the shoulder didn’t hinder him during the past game, it’s been speculated that the lack of practice reps during the week could have led to a poor performance.
Things don’t look like they won’t change much this week as Dak Prescott was held out of Thursday’s practice. It doesn’t look like he’ll get many reps in this week either.
He was joined on the sidelines by a couple of starters on the Cowboys defensive line. DeMarcus Lawrence was out with a shoulder injury while Antwaun Woods is nursing hip and ankle injuries. Additionally, Tyron Smith was out with a back injury.
Linebacker Joe Thomas was held out today with the knee issue and Chris Covington was out with illness.
On the limited list, you had a lot of the regular suspects with Michael Bennett, C.J. Goodwin, Chris Jones, Jeff Heath, and Sean Lee.
