So it’s come to this for the 2019 Dallas Cowboys. A game against Washington that could keep them in contention for a playoff spot based on the outcome of the Eagles-Giants game. This wasn’t the plan for the Cowboys this year, when the team from Dallas was supposed to be a contender. Instead, they are holding on to the slightest hope.
Fortunately for Dallas, Washington is a team they should be able to handle. Of course, anybody who has watched the Cowboys this year knows that no game is safe for this team. They have the ability to lose anytime, anywhere.
So we’ll gather one more time in the 2019 regular season to see if Dallas can even their record at 8-8, and hope that the Eagles somehow blow it. If that happens, they win the NFC East and get to the playoffs. If not, the offseason begins.
