The new selection gives the Cowboys six total picks in this year’s draft, and two in the fourth round. Fourth-round picks have been good to them before as Dak Prescott is one.
2019 Dallas Cowboys Draft Picks
- Round 2, 58th overall
- Round 3, 90th overall
- Round 4, 128th overall
- Round 4, 136th overall
- Round 5, 165th overall
- Round 7, 241st overall
Dak was actually the 135th pick in the draft three years ago so the Cowboys will hopefully pick somebody as impactful as him one slot later. There had been some murmurings that maybe Dallas would also pick up another sixth-round pick but, unfortunately, that is not the case.
With no pick in the first round the Cowboys are going to have to make sure they really hit on their other selections this year. Will McClay has been better about that in season’s past, here’s to hoping another fourth-rounder will serve him well.
