The day seemed to start well for the Cowboys. News came from Stephen Jones that the Cowboys had made an offer to DeMarcus Lawrence and felt pretty confident that they would get a deal done eventually. Jones also discussed moves with guys like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott among others. It seemed like the Cowboys front office had a solid plan going. Then Randy Gregory happened.
