A few weeks ago, it was reported that the Dallas Cowboys had no intention of bringing back David Irving. That being said, Irving’s most notable experience in the NFL has come as a member of their organization.
Tuesday seemed to be the day of bad news, what with Randy Gregory’s indefinite suspension dropping, and it looks like there could be more ahead for Irving specifically. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Irving could be facing his own suspension.
Dallas defensive tackle David Irving is under evaluation from the NFL for a potential suspension, league sources told ESPN on Tuesday. Irving was suspended for the start of the past two seasons for a violation of the NFL's drug policy.

This would mark the third season in a row that Irving is suspended at the start (if it does come to fruition) which could make finding a new team all the more difficult. Irving has taken to social media to voice his thoughts on things recently, it will be interesting to see if another team does indeed give him a shot.
David Irving has immense talent, this has always been an issue of other things. Hopefully his future brings him whatever he’s looking for.
