Free agency is here in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys have already made some moves in free agency be re-signing or picking up options on a handful of their own players. They have also slapped the franchise tag on DeMarcus Lawrence as they worked toward a long-term deal with their star defensive end.

March 23rd - The Cowboys have signed safety George Iloka to a one-year deal,
March 22nd - The visit from George Iloka concludes with no deal struck.
March 21st - The Cowboys will be hosting safety George Iloka on Friday.
March 20th - Safety Clayton Geathers visited the Cowboys on Monday but has re-signed with the Colts. Eric Berry, anyone?
March 19th - The Cowboys have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with receiver Randall Cobb.
March 19th - No deal yet for Eric Berry, the free agent safety will leave town and visit other teams.
March 19th - The Cowboys have re-signed long-snapper L.P. Ladouceur.
March 19th - Trade rumor! The Cowboys are reportedly talking to the Dolphins about a trade involving defensive end Robert Quinn.
March 18th - The Cowboys will host defensive tackle Malik McDowell on Tuesday. A serious accident has kept him out of football for two years.
March 18th - Eric Berry is reportedly coming for a visit.
March 18th - The Cowboys haven’t reached deals with a couple of visitors yet.

March 18th - The Cowboys have added a free agent, former Lions defensive lineman Kerry Hyder.
March 18th - Free agent safety Clayton Geathers will be visiting the Cowboys today.

March 15th - As expected, the Cowboys made no effort to bring back Geoff Swaim; he has departed for a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
March 14th - With the Cowboys bringing back Daniel Ross and signing Christian Covington, free agent Caraun Reid may be the odd man out. Word is he visited the Seahawks.

March 12th - For the second year in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs are signing a Cowboys free agent linebacker, this time it’s Damien Wilson.
March 12th - Cole Beasley is moving on to the Buffalo Bills. The Cowboys offered three years and $18 million, he got four years and $29 million from Buffalo.
March 11th - We have a signing, at least a reported signing, of an outside free agent. According to Calvin Watkins, the Cowboys have signed street free agent Codey McElroy, a tight end.

March 10th - A report says the Cowboys are interested in safety Landon Collins who was not franchised by the New York Giants.
March 10th - NFL analyst Ian Rapoport reports that the Cowboys are still in the hunt for safety Earl Thomas after some previous reports said they weren’t pursuing the star free agent.
March 9th - Sean Lee restructures his contract to almost half its original value, he will stay with the team and freed up cash for the Cowboys in free agency.
March 8th - Dallas has picked up the options on three key reserves in Allen Hurns, Joe Looney, and Joe Thomas.
March 8th - The Cowboys re-signed defensive tackle Daniel Ross to a one-year deal. Ross was an exclusive rights free agent who was part of the rotation at defensive tackle.
March 7th - Justin March-Lillard is re-signed to a one-year contract. He is a special teams staple along with depth at the linebacker position.
March 7th - The Cowboys bring back safety Darian Thompson. He was originally a restricted free agent who was not tendered, but the team reached a one-year deal with Thompson who was key to the special teams coverage.
March 6th - Jason Witten un-retired and shocked everyone in Cowboys Nation. The team had to release him and then re-sign him as a free agent. He got a one-year deal with a base salary of $2 million with incentives that go up to $5 million.
March 4th - Unable to reach a long-term deal, the Cowboys buy some time by slapping the franchise tag on star defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.
