Welcome a new writer to Blogging The Boys

We’re fine-tuning the front-page writer’s roster.

Ed. Note: We’re going to try this again as we added a new writer a couple of months ago, but he had to back out for personal reasons. So we headed back into the free agency market and landed ourselves a new writer. Joining us today is Matt Holleran. We’re very excited to have him, so read his intro below and give him a big BTB welcome —- Dave

Hey everyone at BTB, I am Matt Holleran. I am from just outside the Washington D.C. area and went to college at West Virginia University. I have been a Dallas Cowboys fan all my life, and have not missed a game on television in over 15 years now.

I fell in love with the Cowboys around 2007 when Tony Romo took over as the starting quarterback. Romo’s flair for the dramatic and overall exciting play drew me in and got me hooked.

My favorite memory of being a Cowboys fan is when Dallas beat Seattle on the road in 2014. Despite it being just a regular-season game, I never have been happier about the outcome of a sporting event. The Romo pass to Terrance Williams on the sideline is one of the best all-around plays I have seen in my lifetime.

I previously was a Staff Writer for FanSided’s Cowboys site “The Landry Hat”, and am currently the Site Expert for FanSided’s Washington Nationals site “District on Deck.”

I have been an admirer of BTB for a long time now, and am extremely thankful to get an opportunity to write for the site. I hope you all enjoy my content, and as always, go Cowboys!
