Some headscratching ratings:

Offense

  • QB: A
  • RB: A
  • WR/TE: B+
  • OLine: B

The OLine being a B really caught my eye on offense. They hedged against Travis Frederick, wondered if Connor Williams was going to improve, and said La'el Collins had to improve, and then questioned the depth. That depth part really jumped out at me. I mean, Joe Looney started - admirably - at Center all last year. Cam Fleming has manned a starting role while in New England. We have a highly heralded rookie who could be a starting quality guy (especially if CWill doesn't show improvement). This season, it's likely we'll have the best depth we've ever had in decades.

Defense

  • DLine: B
  • LB's: B+
  • DB's: A
  • ST: B

DLine is full of question marks, but they did give them credit with Trysten Hill. The LBer rating was more about depth than the starters ("arguably the most athletic group in the league," in his opinion), although they really talked down about Sean Lee. They ignored the ST's in discussions. On to DB's. "Pound for pound, they are super talented across the board." Uh, ok. These guys really talked up George Iloka (one guy did say they signed him from Cinci), relegating Jeff Heath back to more of his ST strength, and said Kavon Frazier will likely be able to get on the field more, too.

The final assessment was that our Dallas Cowboys should win the NFC East over Philthy.
