Monday marks the third day of training camp for the Dallas Cowboys and to date there is no Ezekiel Elliott in attendance.
Zeke is holding out for a new contract from the Cowboys and he’s got quite the impressive career so far to back up his wishes. The business side of the NFL often gets in the way of the football side, but such is the reality of professional sports.
A few weeks ago a report popped up that Elliott could be headed out of the country with all of this going on. He’s obviously not in camp, and it appears that report is reaching a reality. Per a new report from 105.3 The Fan the running back is indeed leaving the United States and headed to Cabo.
BREAKING: I don’t normally dabble in the breaking news field, and this might not even qualify, but a source tells me Zeke is headed to Cabo. #ZekeWatch.

So there’s that. @1053thefan
Ezekiel Elliott is no stranger to Mexico as he spent part of his suspension two years ago there. It seems as if that might be an oasis of sorts for him when he’s looking to focus on whatever he can by himself, he was previously seen at a restaurant in Plano last Friday.
Negotiations take time. This isn’t some easy fix that is solvable with one conversation. Millions and millions of dollars are on the line so there must be careful calculations from both Zeke and the Cowboys here.
There is still no real need to panic here as this situation unfolds. For now, we continue waiting.
