The Dallas Cowboys scored a preseason touchdown. It finally happened.

The first offensive drive of the game for Dallas against the Los Angeles Rams in Hawaii featured a few penalties, but it was capped off with a sweet touchdown from one of their prominent rookies... running back Tony Pollard.

Overall the Cowboys gained 97 total offensive yards on their opening drive. The rookie running back Pollard had 52 of them. That’s a pretty solid outing given the magnifying glass that is on him with everything happening at his position.

It was great to see what Kellen Moore’s offensive might be able to do this season. One preseason touchdown isn’t exactly cause for a parade but when you’ve watched the Cowboys offenses of the last few seasons you know that this is significant.

Well done, Tony Pollard. Well done indeed!
