The Dallas Cowboys had their way with the Houston Texans in the first quarter of Saturday’s preseason action, and the party kept on going through the second.
There was a lot of pressure being generated up front by players like Taco Charlton and Kerry Hyder, but the secondary got in on the action, too.
We’ve seen him stand our on special teams, but C.J. Goodwin added an interception to his 2019 preseason resume on Saturday night. Look at this work of beauty.

It’s things like showing up on special teams and making splash plays whenever you’re around that lead to guys making 53-man rosters, and that’s exactly what Goodwin is doing. He seems like a great candidate for the 53, his play surely justifies it.
Also, Dak Prescott happened to be being interviewed while the interception happened. He even added a little play-by-play, you know how Cowboys quarterbacks like calling football games!
