Throughout the preseason many Dallas Cowboys fans have grown more confident in one of the team’s rookie safeties... Donovan Wilson out of Texas A&M.
Wilson entered Thursday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers already having done as much as possible to earn a roster spot without it being totally announced. The good news is that he kept his foot on the gas and picked up his third interception of the preseason near the end of the first half. His third!

The Cowboys have been trying for a long time to find the answer at safety, and while nobody is trying to say that Wilson is that quite yet, he at the very least it looks like the team found something solid in him.
All of this is just preseason after all, but interceptions are interceptions. What Wilson is doing is impressive and it is going to translate into a full-time roster spot.
