As training camp rolls on the Dallas Cowboys continue to tinker with their roster. Many believe the offensive line is the team’s strongest group and they’ve added another layer of depth. Welcome aboard, Lukayus McNeil.
The Cowboys have signed OL Lukayus McNeil, who can play guard and tackle. He had been with the Oakland Raiders. The Cowboys have been searching for OL depth with injuries to Zack Martin, Connor McGovern and Cody Wichmann.

Obviously Zack Martin has had the injury situation and we haven’t seen as much from Connor McGovern as we would have liked. Bodies are necessary and will be even more so throughout the preseason, it never hurts to have other guys that can play.
When you really think about it there’s only one offensive lineman over the last several years that the Cowboys have missed on (Chaz Green). They have eyes for this position group and have had a lot of success in that department.
Here’s hoping that everyone heals up soon and gets totally right. For now there is a new member of the guys up front and hopefully he turns into something special, too.
