The Dallas Cowboys are available on Roku

I have to give a shout out to capps1 for telling me about it in another thread. It's free if you have Roku. You will find it in the streaming section. It's the official Cowboys site not some knock off. I added the channel & have been binging the Deep Blue Documentary series since this blog is being overwhelmed with the contract fiasco with our triplets. The Deep Blue is like 30 for 30 from ESPN or A Football Life from the NFL Network, it's top notch viewing like you would expect. It seems that many come to BTB for their Cowboys news & seldom does anybody mention news from NFL.com, Dallascowboys.com, Cowboys Wire so I'm trying to share this & make you aware of something that is available that you can watch on your TV instead of on the computer. It has all the shows, podcasts & moore that the online version has. At the moment, it shows 8 episodes available. I know there are a couple of moore, but that is all I have. They have a teaser for the Barry Switzer episode, but no release date. So I starting my binge, here we go

1-The Cold Shoulder- It is the show that talks about the day Emmitt carried the team with one shoulder to get us the division crown against the Giants. Many of us remember that day & it was proof of how awesome Emmitt is.

2- Doomsday II- The title tells you what it is all about as the Dirty Dozen kept the dynasty going. The Manster gets a lot of love & is must see TV for any geezer who doesn't have the good old days on DVD

3- From Compton to Canton- If you are a Larry Allen fan, this is for you. If you know nothing but the myths you heard, this will provide some backstory on LA

4- Lett it Ride- This one is hard to watch because if you know the story about Leon you know what is coming. It's still amazing that those two plays is how some remember him, but there is moore to the story. I remember him being such a force when he wanted it. It's truly amazing that he has overcome those plays, plus a few other drama momma moments to end up being a coach here. He very well could have gone off the deep end & it was a big fear that I had, but he did mange to overcome it all.

5- Domino Effect- This one is a reminder of how the second dynasty fell apart as the team of the 90's ended. From the time The Playmaker fell, but couldn't get up to Aikman walking away from a team that was falling apart. The sad reminder of the Galloway goof to the Moss mistake, this one is a downer because we were on top of the world just a few years earlier & now we were back to Earth.

6- Parcels Final Ride- It was a challenge because I wasn't a fan of his. I know he gets credit for turning us around, but I hated his talent acquisitions. I always blamed him for running Emmitt off & making him ware that Cardinals uniform. I always thought if he knew the end was near, he could have told Sean to be patient, instead we suffered through Wade & ended up with Jason. It was still a good ride down memory lane

7- Dak Prescott- A Family Reunion- I'm going to watch that one tomorrow. I do not know much about his past so I'm hoping to find out a few things. I hope I look at him in a different light after watching, in a good way

8- From the Edge- The Tyrone Crawford Story- I will watch this one after Dak's. It has a Canadian Leaf on it so it must tell the story of the hardships he endured. I guess it will tell you some things that most don't know about him. I will give it a shot, sounds like a Hollywood story.

There is one called 88, about the transition from Drew to Michael, I hope that one becomes available since those two are near & dear to any geezer Cowboys fan.

So I hope that anybody who needs a Cowboys fix & has a Roku takes advantage of a nice freebie. Enjoy!
