Lance Lenoir has been a pet cat of many for quite some time here around BTB. He’s shown potential and even gotten a bit of regular-season action during his time with the Cowboys, unfortunately that has come to an end.
ESPN’s Todd Archer reported on Wednesday that the Cowboys are bringing in offensive lineman Kiwanis Bushell-Beatty and when something goes up, something must come down. Lance Lenoir has officially been waived by the club.
The Cowboys are signing OL Kiwanis Bushell-Beatty, who worked out for the team on Tuesday. To make room for Bushell-Beatty, WR Lance Lenoir is being waived/injured. If he clears waivers, he will revert to injured reserve.

Lenoir has been dealing with an injury while out at training camp so he’s had more of an uphill battle than in past years. It’s not insane to hold out hope for him eventually returning to the Cowboys, but this is what happens. You fall in love and things change.
Bushell-Beatty played his college football at Michigan which is a talent pool the Cowboys have gone to in recent seasons (Taco Charlton and Jourdan Lewis). With Zack Martin not playing in San Francisco (and likely in Hawaii), the team is in need of bodies along the offensive line.
