Life is good following a Dallas Cowboys win and hopefully that’s the case a week from now as well. This Sunday the world will see America’s Team visit our nation’s capital for a date with a division rival, the Washington Redskins.
The season opener was a prosperous one for the Cowboys as players like Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Randall Cobb all played very well. It was a quieter day in the box score for Ezekiel Elliott, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t a big part of what’s going on.
Dallas lost one game against their NFC East rivals all of last season and it was on the road in Washington. It was the last game that they played without Amari Cooper and ever since then they are 9-3 which includes two playoff games and this season’s opener.
