It’s almost game time for the Dallas Cowboys as they’re on the road for a division match against the Washington Redskins. Dallas is looking to get to 2-0 for just the second time under Jason Garrett’s full tenure.
As always, the Cowboys will have seven of their 53 players inactive, as will Washington. Who are those players going to be? So glad you asked.
Dallas Cowboys inactives
- Taco Charlton
- Luke Gifford
- Trysten Hill
- Tavon Austin
- Donovan Wilson
- Adam Redmond
- Brandon Knight
Washington Redskins inactives
- Colt McCoy
- Quinton Dunbar
- Fabian Moreau
- Ross Pierschbacher
- Wes Martin
- Jordan Reed
- Jonathan Allen
It’s no surprise to see Taco Charlton show up on this list for the second straight week. He wants to be traded and the Dallas Cowboys are likely working on figuring something out. Trysten Hill is also an inactive for the second week in a row, and while that’s disappointing to see of the team’s first draft selection it’s important to note that the Cowboys are very deep there.
It should also be pointed out that Washington is without two key members of its secondary in Quinton Dunbar and Fabian Moreau. This likely sets up well for Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and co., as does the fact that Jonathan Allen is out.
