The Cowboys travel to New Orleans on Sunday night to take on the Saints. Injuries always play a big part of NFL games and this contest is no different. The Saints will, of course, be without their star quarterback Drew Brees. But who else will be out? Let’s have a look.
For the Cowboys, three players have been ruled out of action. Wide receiver Michael Gallup, defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford and nose tackle Antwaun Woods. All three were expected to be out and they all missed last week’s game as well. Reserve linebacker Luke Gifford is listed as questionable, that’s as close to being available as he’s been all season.
Gallup’s recovery appears to have slowed:
Per source, Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup still has swelling in his knee following arthroscopic. He missed Dolphins game. Will miss the Saints game. And doesn't look good for the Packers game next week. He is still probably a couple of weeks away from returning.

Safety Xavier Woods was a full participant in practice Friday after a couple of limited designations earlier in the week. That certainly sounds like he will be returning to action. It also looks like Tavon Austin will be back after fully participating in Friday’s practice.
Zack Martin was limited in practice on Friday but looks like he will be good to go. Amari Cooper, who had an MRI mid-week, is also looking like he’ll be a full-go as he practiced on Friday although he was limited.

For the Saints, the big question is will Sheldon Rankins be able to play after being listed as questionable.
