DeMarcus Ware on 2019 Cowboys: If they go 10-6, they’ll be a Super Bowl-winning team

D-Ware has spoken.

Dallas Cowboys v San Diego Chargers

We’re just a few short days away from the Dallas Cowboys beginning their latest quest for a sixth Super Bowl win in the franchise’s history, and there are a lot of people who believe that this will finally be the year.

There are a lot of different things happening with football this year. Obviously the pass interference rule change is one that plenty of people will be keeping an eye on, but something else is that Snickers is keeping eyes on big-time performances in the name of celebrating them.

You might remember that Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence wore some Snickers cleats last season. The popular candy bar company has upped their game in 2019 and is handing out a “Snickers chain” (similar to the University of Miami’s “turnover chain”) to elite defensive performances all throughout the season. Tank Lawrence will probably be eligible for a few of those.

If you want to learn more about it you can certainly visit Snickers’ social channels, or you can listen to a different DeMarcus talk about it. That’s right, DeMarcus Lawrence took some time to join BTB’s The Ocho and discuss the chain plus how he views the 2019 version of the Dallas Cowboys.

DeMarcus Ware on BTB’s The Ocho

Ware gave his thoughts on how he sees the season going for the Cowboys near the end of the interview. He did mention that if the Cowboys go 10-6 that they could be a Super Bowl-winning team, as in a team capable of winning one. You know he’s not going to make any absolute predictions.

Thanks to D-Ware for taking the time to join us, and thanks to Snickers for their good work!
