About six months ago it was reported that Tyrone Crawford was involved in a bar altercation over the offseason in Florida. That is obviously not ideal.
The NFL launched an investigation into the incident shortly after and in the middle of July charges against Crawford were dropped. This situation felt like it wasn’t really going to be one anymore, although there are still people who have wondered if there is an inevitable punishment to come from the league against Crawford.
On Friday morning, TMZ posted new video evidence from the altercation. In it Crawford can be seen getting physical with many people at the Florida bar.
There’s no denying video evidence and Crawford can clearly be seen getting very physical with other patrons and some members of what look like security from the bar. Near the end of the video he also walks towards the bottom of the frame and confronts police offers that look to be doing what they can to diffuse the situation.
It remains to be seen whether the NFL will punish Crawford for his involvement in this. Video evidence has often pushed the league in one direction when it comes to punishments, and considering this hadn’t been seen before it’s fair to wonder if the league will take it into consideration.
