The Cowboys get some good news this week as Tyron Smith finally gets some real practice in heading into Week 4. Yesterday Smith participated in some individual drills but was held out of any team activities. He was officially listed as ‘did not participate’ yesterday but Mike McCarthy talked about Smith practicing yesterday and that he was pleased with what he was able to do. Today was the big test as Thursday is the Cowboys longest practice and is padded.
Smith was officially listed as limited.
DeMarcus Lawrence is nursing a knee injury and the Cowboys are managing his reps in practice. He was held out today to work with trainers on the side, but coach McCarthy indicated that they believe he will play this week.
Trevon Diggs has a few injuries that has him limited after a full participation on Wednesday.
The Cleveland Browns are dealing with a bunch of injuries and today’s practice report gives us a better indication of how things will go for them heading into the Cowboys game.
