Class is always Class

I have not seen any articles about a guy who went out onto the field yesterday to check on Dak, but I would like to write a couple of sentences about this guy. One of the first people to check on Dak was Jason Garrett. I personally liked Garrett and was sad to see him go. Not because it maybe wasn't time, as I felt the team quit on him last year in several games, but because he was a good person in the mold of Landry and others with what I felt was character beyond the game. Its just the way I felt about him as our coach. I wanted the guy to succeed as did many fans, even the ones that turned on him in the end. Now I am sure that he isn't the first opposing coach to check on a player, especially when said player is a former player. No it speaks to the class and the character that I felt was Garrett. Being a coach in any sport means you get fired at some point, but for many I think it sucks a little more. I believe that Garrett wanted to win it all for Jerry. I also believe that he failed himself on the one occasion when he may have had had the best chance, and Karma smacked him down a few years later. The fact is he did a very good job while the coach, he just didnt get us over the hump and yeah he had time to do the job. So yesterday when he went out there I was reminded that he is a classy guy and he was still out there for his QB.
