Looking in on the enemy: How did the remaining Cowboys opponents fare in Week 6?

Let’s check in and see how some of the Cowboys future opponents did over the weekend.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys got crushed by the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night. Oddly, they are still atop the NFC East for whatever that’s worth. While things have certainly been tough to watch early on, the season rolls on and the Cowboys are still right in the thick of things. With that in mind, let’s take a look a what’s coming down the pike for this team as we peruse how the Cowboys future opponents performed in Week 6.

Week 7: @ Washington Football Team

Last week: Lost 20-19 to the Giants, currently 1-5

Key game notes:

  • Kyle Allen went 31/42 for 280 yards, with two touchdowns and a pick
  • J.D. McKissic led all rushers with 41 yards on eight carries and added another 43 yards receiving
  • Terry McLauren caught seven passes for 74 yards

Week 8: @ Philadelphia Eagles

Last week: Lost to Ravens 30-28, currently 1-4-1

Key game notes:

  • Carson Wentz was 21/40 for 213 yards with two touchdowns
  • Miles Sanders ran the ball nine times for 118 yards
  • Travis Fulgham had six receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown
  • Wentz was sacked six times

Week 9: Pittsburgh Steelers

Last week: Routed the Browns 38-7, currently 5-0

Key game notes:

  • Ben Roethlisberger was 14/22 for 162 yards with one touchdown
  • James Conner ran the ball 20 times for 101 yards
  • Chase Claypool had four catches for 74 yards
  • Edge rusher Bud Dupree had two sacks

Week 11: @ Minnesota Vikings

Last week: Lost to the Falcons 40-23, currently 1-5

Key game notes:

  • Kirk Cousins was 24/36 for 343 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions
  • Alexander Mattison had 10 carries for 26 yards
  • Justin Jefferson caught nine passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns
  • Linebacker Eric Kendricks led his team with 14 tackles

Week 12: Washington Football Team

Week 13: @ Baltimore Ravens

Last week: Beat the Eagles 30-28, currently 5-1

  • Lamar Jackson was 16/27 for 186 yards and a touchdown
  • Jackson also led his team in rushing with 103 yards on nine attempts
  • Gus Edwards handled the bulk of carries, but only had 26 yards on 14 carries
  • Marquise Brown caught four passes for 57 yards
  • Calais Campbell had three of the Ravens six sacks

Week 14: @ Cincinnati Bengals

Last week: Lost to the Colts 31-27, currently 1-4-1

Key game notes:

  • Joe Burrow was 25/39 for 313 yards with no touchdowns and one pick
  • Joe Mixon rushed the ball 18 times for 54 yards and one score
  • Tee Higgins had six receptions for 125 yards
  • A.J. Green added another 96 yards receiving from eight catches

Week 15: San Francisco 49ers

Last week: Beat the Rams 24-16, currently 3-3

Key game notes:

  • Jimmy Garoppolo was 23/33 for 268 yards and three touchdowns
  • Raheem Mostert led all rushers with 65 yards on 17 carries
  • George Kittle had seven receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown
  • Deebo Samuel had six catches for 66 yards and a touchdown

  • Daniel Jones was 12/19 for 112 yards with one touchdown and a pick
  • Jones also rushed for 74 yards on seven attempts

  • Darius Slayton caught two passes for 41 yards and a touchdown
  • Linebacker Blake Martinez led the team with 14 tackles
