The Cowboys are hoping to get back some injured players this week and Zack Martin is the best of that bunch. Martin suffered a concussion two weeks ago and had to miss last weekend’s game. But he practiced in full yesterday and he did so again today. All signs are point to Martin returning to the lineup. That will be a big help to an offensive line that is struggling.
The Cowboys are also hoping that Chidobe Awuzie, Sean Lee and Joe Looney can get back into the lineup this week. All three players are still on the injured reserve list so we don’t know their exact status, but Mike McCarthy ahs been speaking positively about them possibly returning this week, especially Awuzie.
Andy Dalton once again missed practice on Thursday and it is all but certain that rookie Ben Di Nucci will get his first NFL start on Sunday night.
