The Dallas Cowboys found themselves on a the losing end for the third time in four games. That is certainly not how we hoped things would start out. There is still a lot of football to play, so it’s time to check in and see how their future opponents performed this past week.
Week 5: New York Giants
Last week: Lost 17-9 to the Rams, currently 0-4
Key game notes:
- Daniel Jones was 23/36 for 190 yards with no touchdowns and one pick
- Jones was sacked five times
- Wayne Gallman led all running backs with 45 yards on six carries
- Darius Slayton had 48 yards receiving on three catches
- Linebacker Blake Martinez had 13 tackles
Week 6: Arizona Cardinals
Last week: Lost 31-21 to the Lions, currently at 2-2
Key game notes:
- Kyler Murray went 24/31 passing for just 133 yards and three touchdowns
- Murray added 78 yards rushing
- Kenyan Drake ran for just 35 yards on 13 carries
- DeAndre Hopkins had seven catches for 41 yards
- Linebacker Jordan Hicks led the team with 12 tackles
Week 7: @ Washington Football Team

- Dwayne Haskins finished 32/45 for 314 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions
- Antoine Gibson had 13 carries for 46 yards and a score
- Terry McLaurin had 10 catches for 118 yards
- Jon Bostic led the team with 14 tackles

- Miles Sanders led all rushers with 46 yards on 13 carries
- Travis Fulgham was the team’s top receiver with two catches for 57 yards and a score

- Kirk Cousins was 16/22 for 260 yards for one touchdown
- Dalvin Cook rushed for 130 yards on 27 attempts and scored twice
- Adam Thielen caught eight passes for 114 yards and a touchdown
- Justin Jefferson had four catches for 103 yards
