The Dallas Cowboys will begin the second quarter of their season on Sunday afternoon and fans are hoping that it goes much better than the first one did. America’s Team is 1-3 through four games which isn’t how anybody anticipated this season starting. All games are obviously must-win in the NFL, but positive momentum is seriously needed for a group that has one of the worst defenses and special teams groups to this point in the season.
Such has not been the case for the offense. Dak Prescott is putting up incredible numbers as he leads the league in passing through Week 4, but it has all been for not as there is only a single win to show for it. The likes of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb have all performed rather well statistically, Dalton Schultz has been a nice answer as well, but the defense is where things truly needed to change.
Of course the Giants will bring with them former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett as their offensive coordinator. Garrett has a group led by Daniel Jones, but they haven’t been to impressive through his first four games with the team.
