Three weeks ago - the Cowboys were sitting comfortable at 2-5 and had just barely moved into the Top 10 of the draft order - we speculated in this very space about the Cowboys being on track for a Top 3 pick.
And today, that is no longer speculation. If the season were to end today, the Cowboys would hold the third overall spot in the NFL draft - that much you’ve surely gathered by now if you’ve been anywhere near social media this week.
Here’s the current draft order, courtesy of Tankathon.com:

So far, so good. But now comes the tricky part: Can the Cowboys hold on to that Top 3 pick?
The performance on Sunday against the now 8-0 Steelers suggests the Cowboys may end up winning a few more games down the stretch. And that won’t just drop them out of the Top 3, but could potentially even see them catapulted way down into the 19th overall spot.
Currently the Cowboys would have the 3rd pick in the NFL Draft. The winner of the division will likely pick 19th (I assume they'll lose their first playoff game).

So things are cool.
So here’s the the question to you today:
Would you rather the Cowboys continue to organically tank and thereby secure the maximum draft capital possible? Or do you want them to go all in on winning the NFC East, even if that means a significant loss in draft capital?
