The Dallas Cowboys are back from their bye week and are about to hit the hyperdrive button on their season as today marks the first of two games they will play over the next five days.
It certainly helps that Dallas is coming off of their bye and therefore nice and rested. Saturday brought the news that the team officially activated Brandon Knight, who has been sorely missed, and recently the team also brought back Chidobe Awuzie.
Those wanting to see Awuzie back patrolling the Cowboys secondary have had this game circled as it seemed to make sense. Awuzie is back and ready to roll for the Cowboys per the game’s official inactives. Here is who will be sitting out for both teams.
Dallas Cowboys inactives
- QB Ben DiNucci
- WR Malik Turner
- FS Reggie Robinson
- DE Bradlee Anae
- LB Justin March
- OT Greg Senat
- DE Ron’Dell Carter
Minnesota Vikings inactives
- WR Tajae Sharpe
- S Curtis Riley
- CB Dylan Mabin
- LS Austin Cutting
- DE Jordan Brailford
- OT Ezra Cleveland
- WR Dan Chisena
Hopefully Awuzie is able to help mitigate the loss of Trevon Diggs as the Cowboys are taking on two very good wide receivers in Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. Andy Dalton is back at quarterback for the club so he will be tasked with going shot-for-shot with them when is on offense.
