We’ve seen this quite a bit lately - the Cowboys playing the team from Washington on Thanksgiving Day. This year adds a little more intrigue as both teams are looking to jump out front in a horrible NFC East division and eventually conjure up a playoff berth down the line.
The Cowboys have been somewhat resurrected with an upset of the Minnesota Vikings that capped off a few games of improved play. Dallas was looking horrible until they were competitive against both the Eagles and the Steelers, a prelude to the win over the Vikings.
Now the question is can they put together an actual winning streak by beating their NFC East rivals? If they do that, they will, at least momentarily, be in first place in the East and having the rest of the season actually matter more than just draft pick positioning.
