The Dallas Cowboys will visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and when they do their roster will look a bit different than it did on Tuesday night against the Baltimore Ravens. This season has brought with it a number of challenges for the Cowboys from both normal injuries and COVID-19. Just about every week has featured a shuffling of some kind as the team has made the necessary arrangements for each given game.
Such is the case again here in Week 14 as the Cowboys processed a few moves on Saturday. Rookie center Tyler Biadasz is back in the fold as he is back on the 53-man roster while Adam Redmond was released among a handful of overall moves.
Cowboys transactions:
— Rob Phillips (@robphillips3) December 12, 2020
Downgraded Anthony Brown and Donovan Wilson to out vs. Bengals
Elevated Saivion Smith to active roster as a COVID replacement for Chidobe Awuzie (Reserve/COVID list)
Released C Adam Redmond and activated C Tyler Biadasz from IR-Designated for Return
Friday’s injury report made it seem like Anthony Brown and Donovan Wilson would not play and now we know that they absolutely won’t. The fact that their status was defined, but that Ezekiel Elliott’s wasn’t as far as being out seems to suggest that Zeke might play.
The Cowboys did place veteran cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Saivion Smith seems to be the person they are turning to in his absence.
Dallas and Cincinnati kick off on Sunday at 1pm ET.
