The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, their third to last game of the season. In the lead up to the contest, head coach Mike McCarthy made it seem like the secondary could be getting back some of their missing members, and it seems like that is going to be the case.
Saturday brought the news that the Cowboys tinkered with their roster quite a bit. Among the moves is the return of rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs, which is certainly nice to see. Unfortunately, there are two new Cowboys on injured reserve. Deante Burton and Justin March will be there and as NFL rules require players to be there for at least three weeks, their seasons are effectively over.
Quite a few roster moves today. Deante Burton & Justin March going to injured reserve. Trevor Diggs has been moved back to the active roster, & OT Jordan Mills has been signed to the 53.

RB Sewo Olonilua & CB Chris Westry are also moving up from the practice squad for this game.
Jordan Mills, Sewo Olonilua, and Chris Westry will also all be on the 53-man roster for the 49ers game. Perhaps the Cowboys are preparing to see some younger players with their playoff hopes looking a bit more thin than they have at any point this year.
The Cowboys and 49ers kickoff at 1pm ET on Sunday afternoon.
