The Dallas Cowboys will likely have to play the Philadelphia Eagles without some key components of their defense. That’s not good news going into a game where they are going to have to chase around Jalen Hurts. Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch has basically been ruled out as Mike McCarthy has loosely termed his injury a multi-week thing.

Safety Xavier Woods and defensive tackle Antwaun Woods are also not practicing so far this week and their outlook doesn’t look good for Sunday. Earlier in the week coach McCarthy said it would be a real challenge for Xavier to go this week, and that he didn’t anticipate Antwaun practicing at all this week.

Tight end Blake Bell is also not practicing but he is out because of illness and McCarthy said earlier today that he anticipates Bell playing.

Ezekiel Elliott will be limited all week but the running back thinks that he is on track to play on Sunday. `

Cornerback Rashard Robinson is still not able to practice.

Here is the Eagels report.
