The 2020 NFL Draft is approaching and things are a lot different for the Dallas Cowboys this year than they were last.
For starters there is a new head coach in town in Mike McCarthy. His entire staff will obviously have different preferences and tastes than the old regime, so it is up to Will McClay and the Cowboys scouting/personnel department to give them what they need.
What’s more is that at this time last year we were all preparing for a draft in which the Cowboys did not hold a first-round pick thanks to trading it away for Amari Cooper the season prior. Dallas holds the 17th overall pick in the upcoming draft and how they choose to utilize it is going to be fascinating.
This post will serve as BTB’s official tracker for all reported pre-draft visits and Dallas Day participants. Each NFL team can host up to 30 players as pre-draft visitors, a group that is often referred to as the “Top 30.” Onward.
The NFL has stopped all pre-draft visits until further notice.
The NFL sent a memo to clubs saying "we have decided to prohibit all in-person pre-Draft visits involving draft-eligible players effective at the end of this business day, until further notice." More fallout from COVID-19.
