Most of the talk about Cowboys free agents has centered on Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper. We learned the Cowboys tagged Prescott, and they have yet to reach a deal with Cooper so he is free to talk to other teams. Byron Jones is the third high-profile Cowboys free agent, but his departure has been telegraphed for weeks now.
Behind those three is another important piece of the puzzle. Defensive end Robert Quinn led the Cowboys in sacks last year with 11.5. He was able to regularly generate pressure around the edge and was one of the best players on the Cowboys defense.
He may not be on that defense in 2020. He is getting plenty of interest from other teams now that the legal tampering period of free agency has begun.
DE Robert Quinn garnering a lot of interest now that the legal tampering window has opened. Dallas is not among then yet but are expected to make a run at him at some point per source informed. #Cowboys

Last week, there were some reports that the Cowboys were in negotiations with Quinn, but with legal tampering now here, it’s clear they were unable to reach any kind of deal if they were actually talking. The Cowboys may have let him know what they are willing to do in terms of contract money and will wait to see how Quinn does on the open market before re-engaging.
All of the Cowboys top free agents, besides Dak Prescott, are free to talk to other teams. It’s a tense time for America’s Team and the fanbase.
