The Dallas Cowboys boast one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, but the depth of it has been challenged in recent seasons.
Reality is that Tyron Smith cannot be counted on to play 16 games in a season, let alone 17 which will happen in the future, so the Cowboys have to have a proper swing tackle in place as a precaution.
For two years now that role has been filled by Cam Fleming and he has started six games in that time. He could be moving on though as the Cowboys won’t be picking up his option.
Cowboys will try to re-sign but was scheduled to make $4 million this year https://t.co/ZBe2g3uw5x

Cowboys would like to bring Cam Fleming back at a reduced salary. Not sure if he’s willing to do that.

The Cowboys obviously need a swing tackle as they are seemingly set with guard depth, although they do have Brandon Knight for what it’s worth. It was just last year that the Cowboys drafted Connor McGovern and then extended La’el Collins. McGovern figures to provide guard and potentially center depth.
All the best to Cam Fleming wherever he ends up.
