Obviously a lot remains to be seen with the state of our world, but as of now the Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to play in the first football game of the season - the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.
The Cowboys are slated to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Canton, Ohio in the game’s preseason kickoff and the squads are meeting in honor of the coaches that are receiving bronze busts, Jimmy Johnson and Bill Cowher.
Johnson and Cowher didn’t ultimately meet in Super Bowl XXX but Johnson’s Cowboys were undoubtedly there. Dallas won their third Super Bowl in four years and cemented themselves as a dynasty. Come August, the nucleus of it all will finally be together in the Hall when Coach Johnson is put in.
Troy Aikman will present Jimmy Johnson into the Pro Football Hall of Fame
With Jimmy Johnson heading into the HOF many people have been wondering who would perform the ceremonial duties around his induction. During a Q&A on Sunday it was finally revealed who would be presenting Johnson... Troy Aikman.
@TroyAikman will present me and Terry Bradshaw will put the jacket on me.. https://t.co/QpqgnROsw2

Previously presenters shared the stage in Canton but nowadays they offer a pre-recorded message about the inductee. Troy Aikman is without question the most fitting person to speak about Johnson as the former was the latter’s first draft selection when he took over the Cowboys in 1989.
What’s more is that Aikman and Johnson are teammates in their post-football life as well. Aikman is FOX’s number one color analyst while Johnson is part of the pre- and post-game crew that discusses games and results. This is poetry as Johnson found out he was entering the Hall of Fame while on FOX during halftime of the divisional round matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. Troy Aikman watched from Lambeau Field and let his emotion be seen by the whole world.
Former @dallascowboys head coach @JimmyJohnson has been elected to the @ProFootballHOF as a member of the Class of 2020.

It will be quite the treat to watch the leader of the 90s Cowboys present their head coach into football immortality.
