Once upon a time, many Dallas Cowboys fans agreed on who their pet cat was at training camp. Choosing a favorite on-the-bubble player is an exercise that we all partake in here at BTB, and many have planted the Lance Lenoir flag. Lenoir battled at wide receiver and looked to be a potential future prospect for the Cowboys, but it just never came together.
What was technically still potential came to a halt on Tuesday. Dallas has cut Lance Lenoir according to a source.
In non-Gronk news: The #Cowboys cut WR Lance Lenoir, source said. More moves before the draft.

Lenoir technically suited up for the Cowboys, he played the regular-season finale in 2017 and got in the mix a bit the season after. He was somebody that did seem to have a lot of potential, but he happened to be in the mix at wide receiver while the team brought in Amari Cooper and saw Michael Gallup take off, leaving a dearth available snaps.
Hopefully Lenoir finds an NFL home. He flashed at times throughout the preseason and looked like he could play at the professional level.
