The Cowboys drafted CeeDee Lamb at 17 overall, holy smokes they did it!

The 2020 NFL Draft is underway and the Cowboys have plenty of spots on their roster to address. All offseason long, the questions had been whether the Cowboys would go after an edge rusher, cornerback, safety, or be faced with a top receiver talent they couldn’t pass on. As the draft began, there were no trades in the Top-10 picks but things were shaking out well for the Cowboys.

Until the Jaguars had to throw a damp blanket on the party and draft Florida CB C.J. Henderson.

In a miraculous wave of good luck, both CeeDee Lamb and K’Lavon Chaisson were staring them in the face at 17 after the Falcons took A.J. Terrell, the CB out of Clemson...

So is it #TeamPassRush or #Team40Burger?

A win for scoring all the points in the NFL. Nobody thought the Cowboys would do it, actually take a receiver with needs on defense?

The truth that Mike McCarthy has spoken all offseason is about taking the best player and when you have a shot at the best receiver in the draft according to most draft experts - why not?!

Without question, the Cowboys need defensive help but sometimes you just have to answer the call when it’s so obvious who the best player is. He just might be the best in the class and now he plays for your Cowboys!
