It’s never an easy task to say goodbye and especially to a community such as Blogging The Boys but my time has come, compadres.
My climb up my profession’s ladder has made it impossible for me to contribute as much as I would like to and I would never give BTB anything less than 100%.
When I started writing fan posts way back in the 2011 season, I had always dreamed that I would one day get a call up to front page. After bouncing around various other platforms, I realized that dream in January of 2015. I am very gracious for the opportunity that was given to me by Dave Halprin to join the finest group of writers there is when it comes to covering the Dallas Cowboys.
It has been an honor to write alongside the elite list of writers that have graced this blog over the past five years. It has been an honor to contribute to this amazing community that has given BTB the legitimacy to stand proudly among any sports platform on the planet.
You channeled this energy and made me better each and every day. I thank you for this amazing opportunity, your friendship, and wish you all the continued success with BTB.
To Mr. Tom Ryle:
I thank you for three years as the most amazing podcast partner a guy could ask for. We sure had loads of fun each time we hit the airwaves. You will always be the Arn Anderson to my Ric Flair. You know how to reach me anytime you need.
It’s been a true pleasure learning from you and even more of a pleasure to read your work over the years. Anytime I needed a hand, if I threw up your “Bat-signal”, you were there in an instant. Thank you.
It’s been a blast working alongside you through the years. Tom and I both cherished those episodes of the show we recorded with you. DannyPhantom is as good as any so-called draft expert out there. You are a great writer and even greater pal.
To the BTB Community:
Thank you all for reading my articles over the years. Thank you all for the spirited debates. Thank you all for making BTB a very special place for Cowboys’ enthusiasts.
It’s been a wonderful ride, Adios!
