We are all longing for sports these days but thankfully we have had a few documentary-type things to keep us busy while they are gone. Just about the whole sports world enjoyed The Last Dance on ESPN and last week the Golf Channel dropped Tiger Slam to a lot of approval as well.

The NFL has always done such a fantastic job at telling stories in football movies (mostly through the lens of NFL Films) and they have a lot of productions that they put together. A series that they’ve done for the last two years now focuses on studying film and it is appropriately called Film Session.

Film Session is what you think it is - analyzing film. The third season will begin next week and is available on Game Pass while the first five episodes will also drop on NFL Network. Each one will feature a different NFL player to help the hosts, Kurt Warner and Brian Baldinger, break down some stuff, and there are two Cowboys players on the upcoming season.

Film Session Season 3 Player Lineup (dates the episodes drop on Game Pass)

June 2: Texans QB Deshaun Watson

June 9: Patriots CB Stephon Gilmore

June 16: Cowboys WR Amari Cooper

June 23: Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick

June 30: Packers WR Davante Adams

July 7: Vikings RB Dalvin Cook

July 14: Cowboys LB Jaylon Smith

July 21: Ravens DE Calais Campbell

July 28: Colts G Quenton Nelson

August 3: Bears S Eddie Jackson

August 10: Titans QB Ryan Tannehill

August 17: Bills CB Tre’Davious White

August 24: Steelers DE Cam Heyward

August 31: Vikings LB Eric Kendricks

September 7: Eagles CB Darius Slay

September 14: Ravens OT Orlando Brown

September 21: Packers OLB Za’Darius Smith

September 28: Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey

October 5: Cardinals S Budda Baker

The episode featuring Amari Cooper will also be on NFL Network on Saturday, June 20th at 8 PM ET if you would prefer to watch it that way. It will be interesting to say the least to see what Cooper and Smith see and how they break down film of what they have done for the Cowboys.

Which episode are you more excited to see?
