Important news regarding Cowboys players.

For the last few months our world as we know it has been dramatically impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

You are obviously aware of how this has paused many aspects of our lives, sports included. While leagues around the world had to suspend activity altogether because this has all happened from the middle of March to now, there has been no football taking place on the field.

That’s not to say football activities haven’t gone on. Free agency, the NFL Draft, owners meetings, and things of that nature have all taken place in a socially distanced way, but obviously there has been no on-the-field action for the Dallas Cowboys and the rest of the NFL.

Several Cowboys and Texans players have tested positive for Covid-19

We know that NFL coaching staffs have been allowed to be inside team facilities, and on Monday we learned something new. Some Dallas Cowboys players have tested positive for Covid-19.

The report from NFL Network does not list which players, but it does say that several Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans players have tested positive. It is important to note that the report also says that none of the positive players have reportedly been inside team facilities either in Frisco or Houston.

As a whole, the NFL is having all of its teams hold training camp at their team’s facilities, which means the Cowboys will be training at The Star as opposed to Oxnard, CA. Obviously any positive tests could render that all the more difficult to do.

To this point, the NFL world’s biggest positive test was Von Miller of the Denver Broncos. The coronavirus has now infiltrated the Lone Star State, and what happens next is very important.

We will continue to update you here at BTB as more information on this story becomes available.

Update: 12:25pm ET

NFL Network added to their report shortly after our post went up, and they have named one of the players that tested positive. It is Ezekiel Elliott.

We will continue to update this post as more information becomes available.
