We are a month or so away from NFL teams reporting for training camp, assuming that everything happens on time, and taking things day by day in the meantime.
There has been little football news with teams not at The Star in Frisco, but we do know that that is where training camp will be taking place. Until then the most we are seeing from Cowboys players is when they post on social media.
Ezekiel Elliott recently did a Q&A on a Twitch stream and in it he discussed testing positive for Covid-19 among other things, but unfortunately some troubling news connected to the star running back popped up on Friday.
Ezekiel Elliott is being sued over an alleged dog attack
TMZ reported on Friday that Ezekiel Elliott is being sued by a woman that cleaned his pool over an alleged attack by his dogs.
A pool cleaner claims she required surgery and will likely be scarred for life after Ezekiel Elliott’s dogs violently attacked her in March ... and now she’s suing the NFL star.
But Zeke’s attorney tells us the NFL star adamantly denies wrongdoing and now he’s digging in for a legal war.
It’s all spelled out in new court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, in which a woman says she went to clean Elliott’s pool at his home in Frisco, TX on March 11 ... when she was “ambushed” by his 3 dogs — a Rottweiler and two bulldogs.
The TMZ report notes that in the lawsuit the woman in question is asking for “over $200,000 but less than $1M”, but we have no idea where any of this is going to go. It is important to stress that right now this is an alleged attack.
A similar story involving a dog owned by Dak Prescott was reported last year.
