Trevon Diggs gives us our first glimpse of him working out in a Dallas Cowboys helmet

The rookie for the Cowboys is getting ready for the season.

A few weeks ago we all got to see the first-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys working out in a Dallas Cowboys helmet. CeeDee Lamb was wearing a silver and blue helmet, sans star of course, while running routes, and while there are a lot of reasons to be excited about him, he wasn’t the only player that the Cowboys drafted a few months ago. Their whole class is very intriguing.

It’s hard to expect any rookie's impact to be more than Lamb’s, at least in the immediate future, but the Cowboys drafted someone else that people are itching to see just one round later in cornerback Trevon Diggs. Guess what? He has a helmet, too.

We have yet to see any Cowboys players work out at The Star or in any sort of official team activity, but that hasn’t stopped guys from staying in shape on their own. This obviously applies to rookies as well.

Trevon Diggs took to social media on Wednesday to let the world see him in his new helmet. He looks pretty good.

In the clips shared on Instagram you can see Diggs’ footwork and it is certainly exciting to think about what he will look like in the team’s secondary. There is a lot of pressure on both he and Reggie Robinson II to contribute throughout their rookie year, but of course cornerback is such a hard transition from the collegiate to professional levels.

Diggs had previously been seen on social media wearing a number 31 Cowboys jersey (his number obviously). It will be a lot of fun when we get to see the whole package against some legitimate competition.
