The Dallas Cowboys had one of the more impressive drafts across the NFL a few months ago, and with rookies set to report to training camp on Tuesday an important matter needs to be tended to. While football is a game it is also a business and rookies need to get paid, thankfully they have contracts that they sign which allows for all of that to happen.

The days of rookies holding out for big deals are long in the rearview mirror and getting deals done with the newest NFL players is typically just a formality. That process has begun for the Cowboys and one of the picks that people are most excited about is officially locked in.

Bradlee Anae has signed his rookie contract with the team

While there are definitely other picks that people are excited and happy about, the Bradlee Anae selection from the Cowboys is arguably the most value-laden.

NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah graded Anae as the single-highest value pick by any team, and the Cowboys have landed their newest edge rusher by way of pen meeting paper. According to his agent, Bradlee Anae has signed his rookie contract with the team.

Bradlee has been posting a few videos of himself working out in his Cowboys gear while people have been social distancing at home. We should get to see some of this more often with players at The Star now.

There are still questions as to who the primary edge rusher opposite of DeMarcus Lawrence is going to be. The Cowboys certainly have a handful of options, and they have the future in the hands of Bradlee Anae.

Welcome to the Cowboys.
