Training camp is, as strange as it feels, underway, and the Dallas Cowboys rookies showed up to work before anybody else earlier this week. To be clear, the rookies showed up, but they had to leave shortly after. Current NFL protocols call for players to be tested for Covid-19, test negative, wait 72 hours, and take another test that must result in negative again before they are allowed inside of the team’s facilities.
That timeline puts the Cowboys rookies having their first true day of work on Saturday and with work needing to be done, contracts seemingly got taken care of.
The Dallas Cowboys have signed their entire 2020 draft class to rookie contracts
Since the Collective Bargaining Agreement of 2011 we have rarely seen rookies hold out (somewhere Joey Bosa grins). That will not be the case with the 2020 Dallas Cowboys draft class as they are now all officially on their rookie deals.
The @dallascowboys signed its entire 2020 NFL Draft class on Saturday:

We had been tracking the rookie signings all week long, but the tracking is officially over as pen has finally met paper. It’s nice for the organization to not have to worry about this hanging over their head.
Now that rookies are working out at the team facility the next step is getting a normal practice between offense and defense. Obviously a lot depends on the coming weeks, but this is done.
Onto the next thing.
