Tonight starts the 2020 season for the Dallas Cowboys. They come in with high hopes after replacing Jason Garrett with new head coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys, by almost universal opinion, did very well in the 2020 draft. The pick of CeeDee Lamb was unexpected but energizing. Almost no one thought he would be available when the Cowboys were on the clock. He adds to an offense that was among the top in the league last year.
On defense, the Cowboys re-made their defensive line and now have a deep pass-rushing group. New additions Everson Griffen and Aldon Smith should help DeMarcus Lawrence get after quarterbacks. The secondary is the worry-spot, but an improved pass rush should help them out. Additionally, improved special teams play should be a key to a successful season.
It all starts on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. Here's what you need to know to check out the game.
