The Dallas Cowboys are putting the finishing touches on their game plan before taking off for Los Angeles to meet the Rams on Sunday night. Part of any NFL game are the injuries that both sides have to deal with on a weekly basis. Heading into the Week 1 clash, both teams are pretty healthy besides the guys who have been put on injured reserve.
For the Cowboys, it looks like the only player who won’t be ready to play is cornerback Jourdan Lewis. He has been dealing with a high ankle sprain for weeks, and while he did manage to get out on the practice field for some work with the trainers, he still hasn't been able to participate in a practice.

The good news is that Chidobe Awuzie and Amari Cooper haven’t had any setbacks and will be at full strength. Xavier Woods hasn’t even shown up on the injury report this week after there was some concern heading into this week’s practices.
The Cowboys have Brandon Carr available on their practice squad, with Lewis’ absence he could be a prime candidate for activation on Sunday.
The Rams expect to have everybody ready to go, although running back Darrell Henderson has had some concern with a hamstring problem. But he should be in the rotation of Rams running backs on Sunday.
